Saimir Kraja
Attendance Teacher
Saimir Kraja has been with the New York City Department of Education for 8 years. Kraja is a licensed Attendance Teacher. Since 2021, he has supported schools in District 28 with planning attendance outreach/investigations for non-attending students. Previously, Kraja was a Field Language Access Coordinator at Queens South Field Support Center, where he supported District 27, 28 and 29 schools. He helped schools create a welcoming and inclusive environment for all families. Prior to joining NYCDOE, Saimir worked for 4 years as an Administrative Coordinator in a private school where he was actively involved in supporting students' academic and social emotional growth.
Saimir holds a Master's degree in Political Science from Brooklyn College and a Master’s Degree in Liberal Studies from College of Staten Island.
