Sarah Horowitz
Attendance Teacher
Sarah Horowitz has served as an Attendance Teacher in Queens South for over fifteen years, supporting schools and families with attendance concerns. Before joining the District 28 team, she worked as an attendance teacher at schools in Districts 25, 27, and 28. She began her career with the New York City Department of Education at Far Rockaway High School.
Sarah holds a Bachelor’s degree from the University of Maryland, a Master of Public Administration from Baruch College, and a Master of Education from The University of Hong Kong
